How TCOG hosted "CogniAIm Coronavirus Awareness AI Assistant" to raise COVID-19 awareness in the North Texas community

Texoma Council of Governments (TCOG) works towards improving the quality of life in the Texoma region by pioneering programs and services to enhance health and future of the region.

CogniAIm Inc. created an AI-powered Coronavirus Awareness Assistant to answer queries related to COVID-19 symptoms, treatment, preventative measures, and statistics. This AI assistant utilizes information from reliable sources such as World Health Organization (WHO) and Center for Disease Control (CDC) to answer the queries.

Keeping the main aim of helping the community, TCOG wanted to raise awareness in the community regarding the COVID-19 global pandemic. TCOG hosted CogniAIm's Coronavirus Awareness Assistant on its website to help achieve this goal.

TCOG hosted AI Assistant was able to help raise awareness in the North Texas community by providing following key capabilities.

#1 First point of contact

The CogniAIm Coronavirus Awareness Assistant served as the first point of contact for any COVID-19 related queries from the community. This helped to take off a considerable workload from healthcare professionals who were able to dedicate their time on the field rather than behind telephone lines.

#2 Centralized information

The assistant reduced the need to visit multiple websites or apps to find information on the COVID-19 pandemic. Community users were able to visit the Assistant page and ask a query to get the relevant information.

#3 Conversational Assistant

The CogniAIm coronavirus assistant is backed by a strong natural language processing (NLP) logic that attends to every query in a conversational and human-like manner. It is able to chat with the users and respond to queries like "What are the symptoms for COVID-19? ". This allowed Texoma community users to interact with the Assistant in the same way they used to interact with the workers.

#4 Multilingual

The assistant is programmed to converse in two languages: English and Spanish. This meant that Assistant was able to cater to a wider demographic audience in the community.

#5 Round the clock availability

The assistant is available 24*7 to attend to covid-19 related queries, eliminating the usual long call wait time on phone and ensuring that every question is quickly attended to.
